    • Anna Cecelia Schellinger, 105, of Duluth, died Sunday, Nov. 20, 2005, in St Eligius Health Center. Anna was born in L'Anse, Mich. to Peter and Katherine (Meville) Sands. She came to Duluth in 1922 and was a teller for Western National Bank for 30 years, retiring in 1960. She and her husband, Roman, also owned and operated the Schellinger Jewelry Store in West Duluth. Anna was a member of St. James Catholic Church, St. Margaret Guild, and a member of the West Duluth American Legion Auxiliary. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Roman, in 1976, 2 brothers, William and Robert, 5 sisters, Lillian, Adele, Thelma, Clara, Margaret, and her daughter-in-law, JoAnn Schellinger, in 2002. Surviving is a son, Thomas (Judy) of Apple Valley, Minn.; a brother, Glen (Sis) Sands of L'Anse, Mich.; 3 grandchildren, Thomas Mark, David Lee and Lynn Ann Plath; 6 great grandchildren, Thomas Charles, Samuel David, Amy Marie, Abrial May, Katie Lynn, and Johnathan Joseph. VISITATION:12 Noon until the1 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday, Nov. 22, 2005, in St. James Catholic Church. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Oneota Cemetery. Memorials to St. Jame's Catholic Church are appreciated.
