Jennilee May Ruttman was born Oct. 20, 1914 to Rufus and Anna (Root) Wyatt in a boxcar in Preston, Kan. The family moved to Woodward when she was a young child and she attended the Woodward schools. Jennilee and Wayne made their home in Woodward where they farmed and ranched. They also did custom combine work for 30 years with Jennilee driving a World War II Army (wheat) truck.

Jennilee was a long-time member of the Woodward Church of Christ. She was a self-taught artist and taught oil painting in her home and at the Senior Center for many years. She also enjoyed playing the piano, embroidery work and ceramics.

Mrs. Ruttman died Feb. 12, 2007 at the Harper County Community Hospital in Buffalo.

She was preceded in death by her two husbands; her son William Tune Jr.; two brothers, Glen and David Wyatt; and four grandchildren.

She is survived by four sons and their wives, LeRoy and Maxine Tune of Waynoka, Okla., Roger and Tressia Ruttman, Wendel and Twyla Ruttman and Dale and Lavonda Ruttman, all of Woodward; her brother Rufus Wyatt Jr. of Woodward; her sister Louise Hickey of Woodward; her sister-in-law Glendene Wyatt of Woodward; 14 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren; and other relatives.
