    • William A. Piccoli

      McCandless - A memorial Mass was held Wednesday morning in St. Teresa of Avila Roman Catholic Church, Ross, for William A. Piccoli, 60, who died Monday, July 9, 1984, at his home.
      Mr. Piccoli was professor of chemistry at Community College of Allegheny County. He was a graduate of Benedictine College, Atchison, Kansas, and received a master's degree in physical chemistry from the University of Pittsburgh. He had served as a pilot in the Navy during World War II.
      Mr. Piccoli was a research fellow at Mellon Institute for 15 years and has a number or technical publications and patents to his credit. In 1966 he was a consultant to the Community College of Allegheny County in the establishment of the chemistry department and joined the faculty there as assistant professor.
      During his 18 years with Community College, he served in various capacities as head of the physical science department, assistant dean of faculty and associate academic dean.
      Surviving are his wife, Terese S. Piccoli; six sons, David Piccoli of Philadelphia, Steven Piccoli of Princeton, N.J., Andrew of Carrolton, Texas, and Philip, Martin and Vincent Piccoli, all at home, a daughter, Carol Picolli of Arlington, Va., and a brother. Eugene Piccoli, of Sparta, N.J.
      Burial was private. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Northland Public Library Book Fund, 300 Cumberland Road, Pittsburgh, 15237.
