  • Notes
    • Listed occupation as "Dairy Route" in 1905 New Jersey State Census.

      Lived in Roselle, NJ.

      According to Anne Marie Zellner:

"Uncle Pete was married to Aunt Minnie; they are the parents of Wilma Ehrhardt Ericson. Mom remembers visiting Uncle Pete and Aunt Minnie and their pet parrot up until the time she was around 10 years old. Then they didn't see them for years because Aunt Minnie didn't care for the Ehrhardts in general and didn't allow Uncle Pete to spend time with his family.

When Mom was in high school, Uncle Pete was doing some carpentry for her school and she approached him and re-introduced herself. After Aunt Minnie died, Uncle Pete and his parrot moved in with Aunt Carrie and Tante Annie.

Uncle Pete loved Mom and was always trying to give her money and gifts which Grandma never let her accept. He told Mom all she had to do was ask and it was hers. Mom remembers him as a wonderful man who was very lonely for his only daughter, Wilma, who lived so very far away."
